The Sports Facilities Advisory is currently seeking highly motivated team members to join our devoted staff at our national headquarters in the Tampa Bay, Fla., region. The position will be responsible for office administrative duties and overall office management. Specific tasks relate to booking travel, answering phones, scheduling meetings, and managing important office functions. These functions include working with the marketing director for mailing out collateral and inputting contact information into the database. The applicant will be responsible for speaking with and interacting on the organizations behalf with customers, clients, vendors, and partners. Applicants must have tremendous communication skills, a keen eye for detail, knowledge of grammatical structure/style, and enjoy working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
Proven communication skills both written and oral are a must. Experience in Microsoft Office and Outlook are required. The ability to work in a team environment and take direction is essential, and a passion for sports is a plus. Educational or professional background in business administration, marketing, sales support, and/or related work will be given preference. These positions will be responsible for the writing and documentation of feasibility studies, business plans, and other documents related to the opening of indoor and outdoor sports facilities and community recreation centers. Applicants will be trained in the use of our proprietary systems and processes for analyzing and interpreting data/metrics. Stellar communication skills, prior experience with web-based research, Word, Excel, and financial statements are a must. The ability to work in a team atmosphere, take direction, and produce results in a fast-paced environment is essential. A passion for sports is a plus. Educational background or experience in business administration, technical writing, business plans, or related subjects is also important. Our community recreation centers, indoor soccer facilities, indoor baseball facilities, and multi-sport centers are directed by SFA from concept and construction through facility management and operations. Project and Account Managers are the direct link between our clients and our dedicated team of sports specialists, financing experts, real estate consultants, and facility management consultants. Our Project and Account Managers must be exceptional communicators, passionate about sports and sports facilities development, possess relevant experience in project management, be capable of managing large multi-faceted projects, and be proficient in a wide range of software applications. It would be advantageous for the candidate to have a specific background in one or more of the following: sports facilities management, sports facilities development, real estate development, fundraising for start-ups, fitness facilities development, or related disciplines. Our growing firm oversees indoor and outdoor sports facilities, indoor soccer and indoor basketball centers, community recreation centers, and health/fitness facilities. Successful candidates must be highly personable, exceptional communicators, and possess a disciplined approach to work. SFA’s Fitness Facility Consultants are the direct link between our clients and our dedicated team of sports specialists, financing experts, real estate consultants, and facility management consultants. These fitness center projects begin with feasibility studies, business plans, and investor and bank-lending documents. We then progress to fitness center construction, equipment acquisition, and fitness center management. Candidates must possess extensive background in fitness center development, fitness facility software, facility management, personal training, or related discipline.
